LEAGUE RULES

League Rules

Dues must be received by the first day of league competition. If dues are not received by said date, your score will not count until paid and you will be assessed a $25 fee on top of yearly dues owned.

Members must compete on Thursday during the league allotted tee time, unless unavoidable circumstances require you to play earlier in the day. This early play, however, should be kept to an absolute minimum.

Members must compete with at least one (1) other league member from another team for their score to count.

No “gimmee” putts.

Members are allowed to pick, rake and replace the ball in all sand traps.

Members are allowed to “roll the ball over” (4” max.) anywhere with the following exception; if your ball lands within one club length of a tree, bush, creek, lake, etc. you must play the ball as it lies. If there is any question, ask members of your foursome for a ruling.

If any member witnesses a breach of the rules they must call it on the course at the time of the infraction. You can not bring it up with any result “after the fact.”

Johnny No Show Rule – If a member commits to play in the Spring or Fall scramble and fails to show without giving at least 48 hours notice, they will be penalized $25. This penalty will be added to the following year’s dues. Failure to pay this penalty will result in being denied entry into the league.

Ricky Walk Off Rule – If a member fails to complete his round once it has begun (injury, emergency, weather, etc. excluded) they will be penalized two (2) flight skins and three (3) flight points. Also, they will loose any individual tie breaker that may arise.

Guests will not be permitted the first 3 weeks and last 3 weeks of league competition. If guests should appear during said time they must tee off last. This is necessary so all league members have the opportunity to finish in daylight.

RINGER GAME
Each individual flight will have their own ringer game. Your best score on each hole over the course of the entire season is recorded and lowest 18 hole score at the end of regular team play wins. If you have a bye week during the regular season, your play still counts towards improving your ringer score. Tiebreaker in this game only will be decided by the #1 handicap hole, then the #2 handicap hole, etc.

RAIN OUT
There will be no rainouts. A washout match is postponed until the following week. Teams/Individuals will have their scheduled match plus their washout match from the previous week. In case of a washout on the final week of scheduled play, the match will be decided from the previous week’s score.

TIEBREAKER
1st – Medal Play, 2nd – Match Play, 3rd – putt off or coin flip whichever is most logical under the circumstances.

BONUS POINTS/SKINS
When a Team/Individual has a bye week they are still eligible to gain bonus points/skins for that particular week.

PLAYOFFS
It will be left up to the individual team captains to determine the number of players in a group and the matchups.

MOST IMPROVED
Most improved will be a subjective decision by the board based on various factors.

MISCELLANIOUS
If a situation arises that has not been addressed in the rules, all available board members will make the decision. That decision will be FINAL. PERIOD.
